Even if you don't have to turn to climbing equipment, you'll have to go trekking for the whole day with basic essentials and rest in simple accommodation. Ham Rong Mountain is only about 3km from Sapa town so it is easy for visitors to walk, straight on the process of admiring the scenery on the high mountain of 2,000m in Lao Cai.

Ham Rong is surrounded by a huge number of different mountains. Each of them with a distinguish nuance from coniferous mixed forest to covered green high hills. In addition, Ham Rong is also known as the home of orchids, where this kind of beautiful flower blooms covering the entire mountain like a strange fairy world. That is the reason why standing at the top of Ham Rong mountain brings visitors the cool space, the white clouds and the stunning view, which creaté an admirable picture of just ink and water.

3. Bach Moc Nuong Tu Mountain

Address: between Lao Cai Province and Lai Chau Province

Considered as one of the four highest peaks in Vietnam, Bach Moc Luong Tu is located between the boundaries of Lao Cai and Lai Chau provinces. This is not the choice for those who are afraid of heights due to its craggy terrain, which can easily make visitors discouraged. However, dubbed the forerunner of the Northwest mountains, Bach Moc Nuong Tu turns into a majestic scenery when being seen from above. If you can withstand the cold and climb in the winter, you will have an enjoyable experience with the snow-capped peaks.

4. Ba Den Mountain

Address: Tay Ninh Province

If Fansipan is known as the "roof of Indochina", Ba Den mountain in Tay Ninh is also titled the "roof of the Southeast Vietnam" at attitude of 986 meters above sea level. To conquer one of the most beautiful mountains in Vietnam, you should set off in the dry season since the road is very difficult and dangerous in rainy season. It normally takes about 3 hours to climb on the top of Ba Den mountain. If you go in large groups and have to wait for each other, the time may be prolonged. Therefore, you can bring your tent and provision food for camping overnight.

For those trekkers who are passionate about advanturous climbing, you can start at 2 a.m. Although it is quite dark, you can reach the peak at dawn to watch early sunrise and do the white cloud hunting. Looking down from above, you can see the whole of Tay Ninh province as a colorful picture. Instead of being oversleep at the weekend, you can choose Ba Den mountain as a place to exercise and chanllenge your courage.

5. Bach Ma Mountain

Address: between Da Nang and Thua Thien Hue

Bach Ma mountain is a part of the Truong Son range, considered as one of the most beautiful mountain ranges in Vietnam, like a bridge between Da Nang and Thua Thien Hue, dividing the country into Northern and Southern region. As it located at more than 1.400 meters above sea level, standing on the top of Bach Ma, we will have the chance to enjoy the majestic scenery, a time full of fire and blood of a legendary Truong Son corner. The highest place of the Bach Ma mountain range is Vong Hai Dai. Not only are there beautiful views from above, but there are also waterfalls, forest streams and countless wildflowers along the walkways that can captivate peoples heart.
