1. Ban Gioc Waterfall, Cao Bang province
When it comes to Vietnam's most spectacular waterfalls, it will be a real ommision without mentioning Ban Gioc waterfall (Trung Khanh district, Cao Bang). This is the largest natural waterfall in Southeast Asia, and the 4th largest waterfall in the world among the falls located on the borders of countries.
Ban Gioc Waterfall is located in Cao Bang Province, northeastern Vietnam. This waterfall has a majestic beauty with many floors, surrounded by colossal trees and giant limestone mountains like a romantic painting of water. 2. Lieng Rowoa Waterfall (The Elephant Fall), Lam Dong province
Lieng Rowoa Waterfall, also known as Elephant Falls, belongs to Nam Ban town, Lam Ha district, Lam Dong. This is one of the largest waterfalls in the Central Highlands, over 30 m high and about 40 m wide, and one of the few waterfalls that still remain untouched. Water flows down strongly, rushing like the roar of a mountain forest animal.
3. Pongour Waterfall - Lam Dong province
Pongour Waterfall is located in Duc Trong district and about 50km from Dalat center. People also call this place the Seven-storey waterfall because the waterfall flows through up to seven layers of rock creating magnificent scenery and majestic beauty plus the wild beauty of the mountains. King Bao Dai used to give this place the name of Nam Thien De Nhat (meaning: the best waterfall in Vietnam). Tickets to visit Seven Falls are very cheap, only 10,000 VND / adult ticket and 5,000 VND / child ticket.
4. Datanla Waterfall - Lam Dong
10km from Dalat city, Datanla waterfall is an extremely hot destination for adventurous believers. The waterfall is about 20m high and has countless stone platforms. The special thing is that the water from the falls is quite quiet and gentle. The stream under the waterfall is called Suoi Tien and above is a deep abyss called the Abyss of Death. This Deathly Hallows is where many young adventurous people come to join the adventure sport of rope climbing or waterfall exploration.
5. Dray Nur Waterfall
Located in Dak Nong province, Dray Nur waterfall is one of the favorite destinations for many tourists because of the majestic beauty and the impression of high waterfall and strong current. The waterfall is surrounded by lush green forests year round. After enjoying the majestic beauty of the waterfall, you can visit the thousand-year-old villages and forests with many rare animals. 6. Dambri Waterfall - Lam Dong province
Dambri is located 18 km from Bao Loc. This is one of the highest waterfalls in Vietnam. Visiting the waterfall, visitors can explore the 1,650 m long slide; as well as visit, take pictures at the zoo or participate in gong festival, boating, fishing, campfiring, watching circus animals, etc. Adult ticket is VND 150,000, children ticket is VND 100,000.
7. Silver Waterfall (Thac Bac) - Sapa
About 15km from Sa Pa town towards Lai Chau and Dien Bien provinces, Thac Bac is located in San Xa Ho commune, Sa Pa district, Lao Cai province. The road to the waterfall is quite convenient because it is located right next to the 4D highway, the road to Lai Chau.
Silver Waterfall with a height of over 200 meters is the upstream of Muong Hoa stream with an altitude of 1,800 m located at the foot of O Quy Ho pass. Standing on the top of Ham Rong Mountain in the center of Sa Pa town, you can see the Silver White Waterfall on clear days and this is also the origin of the name of the waterfall (Thac Bac means the waterfall looks like silver). From the top of the high ravine, the water is rumbling down, and its white foam looks like flowers so people called it Silver Falls. Silver Waterfall area is one of the thickest snowfalling places in Sapa, in March 2011, the snowfalling area is over 10 cm in thickness.
8. K50 Waterfall - Binh Dinh province
K50 Waterfall is hidden in a pristine, mysterious place in the "sacred forest of poisonous water" belonging to Kon Chu Rang conservation area, located within the borders of Gia Lai and Binh Dinh provinces. To be able to reach the K50 waterfall, backpackers must go through a tough and challenging journey with so many difficulties and dangers.
